Finding a Repair Shop in New Jersey

You are free to choose any body shop to repair your vehicle. State law requires that auto body repair shops have a license from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. By law, Palisades cannot negotiate or adjust a settlement with an  unregistered shop.

Choosing a Palisades Guaranteed Repair Shop for your damaged private passenger vehicle saves you time since these shops are authorized to begin repairs as soon as you give them approval to start the work. With Guaranteed Repair Shops, we will pay the covered amount for your repairs and will also guarantee the work for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. If the NJ auto repair facility you select is not a Guaranteed Repair Shop, Palisades cannot guarantee the repairs for your auto insurance claim. Sometimes, an accident will cause damage that an appraiser cannot see during an initial inspection. If you are told that your repair costs will exceed the amount shown on your appraisal, ask your repair technician or service manager to contact the appraiser listed on the estimate. The appraiser will be glad to inspect your vehicle a second time to discuss additional damage found.
