Over 250 independent agents represent Palisades. Like Palisades, our agents know New Jersey. They live and drive here, just like you. In many instances, they are members of your community and have a first hand understanding of local, state and regional matters that can affect your insurance needs. When you work with an independent agent, you can expect them to help you find the combination of insurance coverage and service that makes sense for you.

Independent agents are not employees of any insurance company. They can, and often do, work with more than one company. An agent who sells a policy for Palisades is paid commission on each sale, and may also earn additional performance-based compensation, based on policy losses and retention. We select agents to represent our company based on their professionalism, commitment to service and reputations in their local community. They are knowledgeable about many types of insurance and are available not only to help you buy insurance but to provide you with service after you become a customer.
